Who we are

The data controller is Alexandru Repede, trading as WebDigital (sole trader) (“we”, “us”), a web design and digital business based in Enfield, London, UK. We are the data controller for personal data collected through webdigital.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, email, phone number and message when you use our contact form or email us.
  • Clients: contact and billing details, plus project information.
  • Website data: technical data such as your IP address and browser, plus cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • Replying to enquiries and preparing quotes: legitimate interests / steps before a contract.
  • Providing our services and invoicing: contract and legal obligation (accounting records).
  • Website security and spam protection: legitimate interests.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, if enabled): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Marketing emails: only with your consent, with an unsubscribe option in every email.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the business: website hosting (UK), email provider, form and cookie-consent tools (WPForms, CookieYes) and, if you consent, Meta. We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months. Client and invoice records: 6 years (HMRC requirement). Cookies: see the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email contact@webdigital.co.uk. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
